After been locked away for many months the beauties and the beasts where allowed out to play. We have been waiting many months for our Redline Run and finally could put the pedal to the metal and have a blast through the Peak District, Evo Triangle, Cotswold and many more!
We started our run in Leeds at the fantastic Oulton Hall Hotel, from there we took to the Peaks and laid down some tubber through the Snakes Pass and the Cat & Fiddle. After Macclesfield we were greeted by two more Redline Run members before taking on the Evo Triangle. It maybe restricted but that did not ruin a brilliant road. After this we headed on to The Quay Hotel & Spa to finish the say by the Estuary with the sun and some fizz.
We were in for a treat on day two, wales is known for it's fantastic roads and the majority of the day we had a clear road a head, after Builth we split. Some made a dash to the Hotel to soak up the luxuries and bubbly were others went on to the Black Mountain Pass a truly brilliant pass in the heart of Wales. From there we regrouped at the Bath Spa Hotel, a beautiful hotel looking over Bath. After freshening up we headed off into Bath for a delicious Italian and then onto a local wine bar to enjoy the night away.
Our final day took us down into Cheddar Gorge, a fantastic place to hear downshifts and crackling of the engines. Luckily we avoided the traffic throughout the Gorge and it was a pleasure to cruise through, from there we got a true taste of the Cotswold road with awesome bends and twists, something we did not expect in England. After a couple of hours we finished our run at the Classic Motor Hub for a coffee and some trouser tent action! A brilliant way to finish an excellent run.
